I Daydreamed the Dripping Sand
chamber orchestra
2019

When you dream with your eyes open, you can experience something impossible to reach at the moment, something, which will appear in the future or something, which had already happened. While dissociating from what is happening now, we can move from the time we are currently experiencing to the time that already came to pass. But this time we can look at everything from aside, as if we would watch the sand that has crumbled over time – observing each grain separately. This piece is like a slow formation of the dunes, in which you wake up with your eyes full of sand.

Premier: International contemporary music festival "Gaida" 2019 10 04
